Do I need a data protection officer (DPO)?

Five questions based on Article 37(1) GDPR. A data protection officer (DPO; in Slovak, zodpovedná osoba) is mandatory in only three situations — and most small businesses do not fall into any of them.

QUESTION 01Are you a public authority or a public body?

For example a municipality, a state institution or a public school. Courts acting in their judicial capacity are exempt.
